Couples choosing Seville as a destination for their elopement are looking for a Spanish wedding with an exotic twist. The Andalucian capital has a lot of history and an architectural mix of cultures with very Arabic-inspired buildings like the Alcazar.
In Seville, our couples usually choose to have a walk around the beautiful historical centers and the former Jewish quarter of the medieval city, to take pictures and videos there. The elopement ceremony usually takes place in a more intimate place, away from the crowds, or in the Plaza de España very early in the morning.
Note: If you’re getting married on public land, there won't be permits to apply for and pay for. However, if you are choosing a private location, there will be a rental fee to be paid, as it's not included in our packages.
Seville has a Mediterranean climate, but during the summer, it almost seems like an African city. The best months to elope in Seville are March, April, May, October, and November to avoid both the summer heat and the winter rains.
Those who can stand the heat can also choose the summer, however, they have to be ready to sweat out in their wedding dresses!
Every couple's elopement timeline is different, depending on the location, season and time of the day but generally speaking, the ceremony is usually around 20 minutes long and we will have to factor in the duration of the photoshoot. The whole experience usually lasts a minimum of 3 or 4 hours but we recommend keeping the whole day available in case plans unexpectedly change.
When planning your elopement, one of the most important things to consider is the time of the sunset. The harsh midday sun is too bright to take flattering pictures, so you will want to aim for sunlight obscured by clouds - or best - evening sun and sunsets. In spring, sunsets in Seville are a little earlier and there are fewer tourists, which brings more flexibility to your day.
Depending on the schedule of your elopement day, we can organize a private car or you can just pop up a taxi to get from one place to another. The historical center of Seville is not big and mostly pedestrian, so it's easy to walk around.
