Welcome to Somewhere Crazy, a company of pioneering wedding elopement planners. We are passionate about wedding elopements, intimate ceremonies, and experiences that will take your breath away, and so is our amazing team of local vendors. We’re a female-led company and do our best to organize weddings with sustainability and mindfulness in mind, celebrating all types of love!
Our goal is to inspire adventurous couples just like you and show how impactful and magical it can be to celebrate your marriage with just the two of you, or with a small gathering of your closest friends and family. The moments we create are a reflection of you as a couple and the ceremony you have dreamed of. You can expect your wedding elopement planned to a tee and executed with imagination and passion so you can have a stress-free magical day that you’ll cherish forever.
What can you expect
Besides inspiration, we offer a full wedding elopement planning service, assigning you your very own personal wedding planner who will work directly with our community of local vendors to create a unique, personalized experience and ceremony in a breathtaking location of your choosing. Besides English, our international team can also cater to you in Spanish, Italian, French and other languages! Our elopements and wedding ceremonies are always organized by supporting local businesses and with sustainability in mind. From professional photos and video to a fun celebrant and a stunning bouquet, we’ll make sure everything runs smoothly so you can focus on your partner and the incredible adventure you’re about to embark on together.

CEO & FOUNDER
While born and raised in Italy, Valentina is a big adventurer who’s spent her last 12 years living in Russia, Brazil, Senegal, India, and Paris. She currently lives in Barcelona with her extended family of creative friends. As a true Italian, passion has always been the main driver in her life and Somewhere Crazy is the culmination of her dreams: traveling and telling love stories!
In her words: “I feel grateful for being able to do what makes my heart beat hardest. As a destination wedding planner, traveling and exploring the most amazing corners of the world and connecting with gorgeous couples is a huge part of my work and I love it! Elopements and intimate ceremonies hold a very special place in my heart. I always felt extremely privileged to witness a couple choosing to live an incredibly intimate and deep experience. That's how Somewhere Crazy was created: to escape the ordinary and enjoy the extraordinary!”

Cyntia has been working in the wedding industry since 2018 and is crazy about elopements and other romantic events! Her background lies in psychology and event planning, both of which complement each other perfectly at Somewhere Crazy where she mainly takes care of couples wanting to marry in Greece, Spain, and Portugal.
Cyntia is a great listener and observer, has great attention to detail, and is fantastic at logistics. She brings a grounded and calm presence not only to your wedding day but also throughout the wedding planning process!

Growing up in a mountain far away from the city and even neighbors, Stephany has always had a special connection with nature. Appreciating the advantages of a non-traditional life, she’s been traveling and studying non-stop, enriching her life with adventure and culture. Stephany is a psychologist and yogi, which makes her super patient, caring, and calm. At Somewhere Crazy, Stephany organizes elopements in Ireland, Scotland, and Switzerland, as well as helps to organize those crazy out-of-the-box experiences with a focus on creating mindful experiences.

Organizing elopement weddings in Italy and Morocco, Lara brings a blend of simplicity, elegance, and versatility and ensures that your wedding day is everything you've ever dreamed of and more.

Like the rest of the Somewhere Crazy team, Maja too is an avid adventurer. Born and raised in Slovenia, she’s been living abroad for over 10 years, including in The Netherlands, Greece, Germany, China, and now Spain. As a big fan of storytelling, Maja genuinely enjoys listening to our couple’s love stories and ensures that we secure partnerships with local vendors that our couples are looking for. She also supports our marketing and growth efforts by implementing different strategies to help scale the company.

Having hand-picked each one of them, we working with a network of trusted vendors who know their area like the back of their hand. Their familiarity with the local area ensures that each elopement unfolds amidst the most picturesque settings, away from busy crowds.
By choosing local vendors we also ensure that our elopements stay sustainable by limiting the travel (and travel costs) of the vendors. With their commitment to eco-conscious practices - leave no trace behind - they lead the way in preserving our precious environment while delivering moments of intimacy, beauty, and romance for our couples.
