Frequently Asked Questions

  • Eloping in Costa Brava is nothing short of spectacular! Its beautiful natural landscapes and secret coves will leave you speechless ensuring an intimate wedding elopement. There are plenty of incredible spots to choose from in Costa Brava - for a picturesque ceremony, consider the historic town of Tossa de Mar with its ancient castle and panoramic sea views. Alternatively, the botanical gardens of Jardí Botànic Marimurtra in Blanes offer a lush, tranquil setting, perfect for an elopement photoshoot (please note that this stunning venue doesn't allow wedding ceremonies, but we could organize it nearby). Cadaques borders France and is known for its white-washed buildings and Salvador Dalí. And if you're looking for a beach elopement, we suggest taking a look at secluded coves like Cala Aiguablava or Platja de Castell. These hidden gems are less crowded and perfect for an intimate wedding ceremony.

Another fantastic reason to go with a Costa Brava elopement is the local cuisine - try out the different famous Spanish tapas, but don't miss "suquet de peix," a traditional Catalan fish stew, and "crema Catalana" also known as the Spanish crème brûlée, delicious gluten-free dessert. Enhance your elopement experience by partaking in local activities. Wine-tasting tours in Empordà, hiking the coastal paths (Cami de Ronda), or sailing along the coast will add memorable touches to your elopement day and honeymoon.

Opt for a stay in one of the region’s charming boutique hotels or rustic villas. Properties like Mas de Torrent, Hotel Cala Del Pi Beach Retreat, or Vistabella offer luxury and privacy amidst beautiful surroundings. If you want to make your stay especially memorable, consider opting for an additional couple's photoshoot and capture all the special moments of your stay here.

  • Costa Brava's climate is Mediterranean, with long hot and dry summers and seasonal rains. Late June to August can get very busy, so we recommend booking your elopement package during Spring, April to early June, or autumn, September to early October. During these months it is still warm enough to swim, hike, cycle and enjoy the coastal paths in comfort and relative seclusion.

  • We will send you the schedule of your day around two weeks before your elopement wedding in Costa Brava.

Every couple's elopement timeline is different, depending on the location, season, and time of the day but generally speaking, the ceremony is usually around 20 minute long and we will have to factor in the duration of the photoshoot.

The whole experience usually lasts a minimum of 4 hours but we recommend keeping the whole day available in case plans unexpectedly change. The best outdoor lighting happens in the two hours around sunrise and sunset, so we usually recommend that the elopement ceremony is held close to then.

  • The easiest way to reach Costa Brava from around the world is to fly into Barcelona, which features a big international airport with many connections to other important destinations.

Although there are public buses and taxis, we'd recommend hiring a car as it’s by far the easiest way to get around Costa Brava, especially if you're keen on driving around and exploring the various coves that this location offers.
