The cost of a Swiss elopement usually ranges between $5,000 and $10,000, depending on the location, season, and add-ons.

This is, however, still significantly cheaper than traditional weddings, which average around $30,000.

The weather in Switzerland varies a lot due to the time of the year, the region, and the altitude. Depending on whether you want to ski, go sightseeing, or find ecotourism projects - the right season for you will depend on your chosen activities. 

Winter is the time that whereas some countries curl up and hibernate in colder months, Switzerland blooms into a winter paradise, so it’s no surprise that there are a ton of amazing things to do during this time. From any snow sport, you care to name to first-rate Christmas shopping to peaceful Alpine hikes to charming, snow-covered villages to explore – you won’t be bored in winter. Summers, instead, are warm and you can swim in the crystal blue lakes, rolling green hills, and stunning hiking trails while being sun-kissed.

The biggest airport in Switzerland is Zurich International and the other two main airports are Geneva International and Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg. However, being surrounded by five countries, you can fly to one of the neighboring countries and then easily reach Switzerland with a connecting flight or by train.
