The region of Apulia or Puglia is located in the heel of Italy’s boot and is renowned for its ancient olive groves, whitewashed villages, and dramatic coastlines along the Adriatic and Ionian Seas. Whether you're exchanging your vows in the shadow of a centuries-old trullo in Alberobello or against the backdrop of Polignano a Mare’s cliffside views, an elopement at Puglia promises a diverse, scenic landscape that enhances the intimacy of a couple’s most cherished moments.
Moreover, Apulia’s rich culinary tradition, from its fresh seafood to homemade orecchiette pasta, offers eloping couples an authentic Italian feast to celebrate their union. Although every couple's elopement timeline is different (depending on the location, season, and time of the day), generally speaking, the wedding ceremony is usually around 20 minutes long and you can expect photography before, mid, and after the ceremony. The whole experience usually lasts a minimum of four hours but we recommend keeping the whole day available in case plans unexpectedly change (due to unpredictable weather conditions etc.).
The best outdoor lighting tends to be around sunrise and sunset, so we usually recommend that the elopement ceremony is held close to that time.

Puglia is getting easier to reach by plane from Europe. There are two main airports in Puglia: one in Bari in the north and the other in Brindisi in the south of the region.
If you choose Apulia as your elopement destination, we can arrange a private car transfer for the day of your elopement but we recommend that you hire a car for the duration of your stay in Puglia.
