Izmira and Garari reached out to Somewhere Crazy from The States, looking for a fun beach elopement destination that could host a few of the closest family members and friends. After speaking to Cyntia, our wedding planner who’s an expert in eloping in Spain, they opted for a Barcelona wedding.

The couple was full of love and big smiles so we went above and beyond to make their dreams come true. So, we helped the couple rent out a boat in the marina where they were able to celebrate with their loved ones post-ceremony. But let’s rewind.

The couple checked in on the boat at 10 am, where they were able to enjoy a quiet morning just the two of them. Their wedding cake was delivered at 11 am and at 12 pm, we had the hair and make-up artist do her magic. We ensured they had plenty of time to get ready and invited the photographer to join the couple at 3 in the afternoon. Then, the photographer together with the couple took a walk through the marina and little historic streets of Barcelona, taking in the beat of the city with every step. At 4 pm, we took them to their ceremony spot where they had their loved ones waiting for them to arrive and celebrate with the couple. Izmira and Garari exchanged their lowing vows, bringing tears to the eyes of every single person who attended the wedding.

After the first kiss as a married couple, it was time to celebrate! The couple together with their loved ones headed back to the boat to have champagne and cake. In the evening, we helped to organize a dinner at the famous Taverna Gallega for a delicious seafood feast.
