Frequently Asked Questions

Menorca is one of the Balearic Islands, within the Mediterrenean sea and off the coast of Spain. It’s the second largest island, at 701 square km. Menorca is loved as a wildly rugged destination for nature lovers, and perfect for couples who want to add outdoor activities and sight-seeing to their elopement trip.
Menorca is known for having distinct northern and southern geological regions. In the north, find tall mountains and deep valleys, deep red-stoned beaches, and elopement locations such as Cape Favaritx. In the south, a softer landscape beckons with gentle pine-covered canyons and plant life, leading to magnificent private coves with soft golden sands.

Menorca’s climate is typically Mediterranean, with long hot and dry summers and seasonal rains. Late June to August can get very busy on the island, so we recommend booking your elopement package during Spring, April to early June, or autumn, September to early October. During these months it is still warm enough to swim, hike, cycle and enjoy the coastal paths in comfort and relative seclusion.
One thing to be aware of in Menorca is the strong north wind; known as Tramuntana. We will make sure to check weather apps to dictate which location is best for your elopement ceremony.

We will send you the schedule of your day around two weeks before your elopement wedding in Menorca.
Every couple's elopement timeline is different, depending on the location, season and time of the day but generally speaking, the ceremony is usually around 20 minute long and we will have to factor in the duration of the photoshoot.
The whole experience usually lasts a minimum of 4 hours but we recommend keeping the whole day available in case plans unexpectedly change. The best outdoor lighting happens in the two hours around sunrise and sunset, so we usually recommend that the elopement ceremony is held close to then.

Menorca is connected to the rest of the continent with a good airport. Find frequent flights to the rest of Europe, and the world, many times a day.
Although there are public buses and taxis, we'd recommend hiring a car as it’s by far the easiest way to get about. Roads on Menorca are pretty quiet and follow a simple fishbone system, with a main road east to west, and smaller roads feeding off of this.
This will give you more freedom to explore the island and reach your accommodation and elopement location without hassle
