Samantha and Sean are both passionate about their careers and after meeting at work and deciding it wasn’t a good idea to date a coworker, they couldn’t deny their attraction to each other and finally gave in! They decided to elope because they wanted to have an intimate experience focused on the two of them and the next chapter in their lives. They also felt that a big wedding day would create an experience that was organized around making everyone else happy, combined with their mutual love for travel, making eloping the ideal choice. Plus, having a photographer and a videographer there with them on the day gave them comfort in knowing that they could still share the day with their families afterward, and have wonderful memories to look back on. 

They jetted off to Barcelona, and on the day of the elopement, they strolled the old streets of the city, making their way to the Parc de la Ciutadella. There, under the shade of the trees and at the top of the staircase overlooking the park and the fountains, they had an intimate ceremony and exchanged the vows they had written to one another. The emotions were high, there were tears of joy and laughter in equal measure, and you could see just how happy they were by the twinkle in their eyes.

In both of their vows, they told each other how much they loved one another, made promises for their future, and talked about their love of adventure and how they wanted to travel the world together:

“I promise to share this adventure and many more adventures to come with you. I promise never to forget that being with you remains the greatest adventure out there. I vow to continue to travel the world with you today and for the rest of my days, choosing this life of adventure together.”
