We recommend having a photo shoot in the historical center, then escaping to one of the tranquil parks for an intimate ceremony. After exchanging your vows, we'll take you around the most special little spots: stroll the palm-filled promenades hand-in-hand, enjoy some amazing local ice cream, or sip sangria while admiring views of the city from scenic rooftop bars.

Barcelona’s summers are hot and dry, reaching a peak around July and August. The coldest months are January and February. But you really can travel to Barcelona any time of the year for your elopement. Nestled next to the sea, Barcelona enjoys a Mediterranean climate. That means autumn, spring, and winter can be wet, but temperatures are always nice and mild.

Every couple's elopement timeline is different, depending on the location, season and time of the day but generally speaking, the ceremony is usually around 20 minutes long and we will have to factor in the duration of the photoshoot. The whole experience usually lasts a total of 4 hours but we recommend keeping the whole day available in case plans unexpectedly change. 

The best outdoor lighting happens within the two hours around sunrise and sunset, so we usually recommend that the elopement ceremony is held around that time.

As a top leisure destination in Europe, Barcelona is very well connected to the rest of Spain, as well as the rest of the world. 

Once you are in the city, the best way to get around is by foot. Especially in the historical center, which is becoming increasingly pedestrian friendly. Otherwise, the metro and buses are easy to navigate and taxis are not expensive.
